CAIRO – 26 June 2017: Someone has decorated his/her own parked car with Eid sweets as a way to celebrate Eid with passers in the street. The car owner wrote on a paper that glued on the car ‘Happy Eid Take One’ both in Arabic and english.

Social media users shared the post and expressed their admiration of the idea, by saying that Egyptians always have great surprises.

Eid Al Fitr is an important Muslim holiday celebrated worldwide. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29/30 days Ramadan fasting.

In Egypt Eid is three days feast and is an official holiday. It starts with small snack followed by Eid morning prayers; afterwards family, friends, relatives and neighbors gather and eat food such as fata. While the main associative desert is Kahk, which are cookies filled with nuts and covered with powdered sugar. Egyptian either bake it at home or buy it from a pastry.
