CAIRO – 18 May 2019: Saturn will be visible in the sky of Egypt and Arab countries during the holy month of Ramadan, the Jeddah Astronomy Society said in a statement.

Saturn, aka the Lord of the Rings, will be visible as a shining spot in the sky by unaided eye, while gazers can see its rings via telescopes, the statement added.

The Lord of the Rings will appear in the south-eastern part horizontally at midnight and will be on the left side of Jupiter, the statement continued.

According to NASA, Saturn was known for its rings since 2004, although Galileo was the first person to see the rings in 1610. Saturn is located 900 million miles away from the sun in our Solar System; its whole trip around the sun takes 29 Earth years.
