CAIRO- 22 April 2017: Australian runner Mina Guli arrived in Luxor Friday, pursuing the initiative of Run4water, through which she is travelling around the globe to advocate providing safe water for all.

Guli, 46, is set to run 1048 miles, equivalent to 40 Marathons, in 40 days along six of the most famous rivers in the world. She has so far run by Colorado, Amazon, Murray Darling and Yangtze rivers, and after she runs by the Nile, she will head to London to follow the Thames.

The initiative supports the UN Global Goal Six- which aims to provide clean and safe water to all by 2030.

Mahmoud Ezz, one of Guli’s companions, stated that she arrived to Luxor on Friday night and she continues her runs Saturday morning for about 50 km south of Luxor, reaching Al-Karnak temple.

Ezz added that she will be leaving on the same day.
