CAIRO – 24 December 2017: You’ll probably spend the next week or so indulging yourself, and come the new year and you might start feeling the effects of those indulgences. Of course this is the time to let loose and relax before we gear up for the new year. But for the sake of a faster bounce back when the time comes, here are a few suggestions for workouts to burn those extra calories and refocus your energy for the coming year.

Pound



Pound is one of the new trendy workouts that have recently surfaced. It’s a full-body cardio workout that uses lightly weighted “drumsticks” called Ripstix incorporated into the whole class. Pole Workouts

You can’t really go wrong with the classic yoga class and there are so many types to choose from. Hatha, vinyasa, hot yoga, aerial yoga. Don’t expect it to be an easy workout though, yoga is tougher than it appears from the outside looking in. You’ll definitely break a sweat. Zumba

Zumba is an excellent cardio workout. It’s fun and entertaining and you won’t get bored of repetition like typical gym workouts or circuit training. It’s going to make you sweat and burn calories just like any other workout, but you’ll feel like you’re at a dance party while doing it. Crossfit is still popular after it went through a phase of being the new fitness craze. It’s an extremely effective workout, and quite intense.
