Get ready for the sequel to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’

CAIRO – 23 December 2017: Author Lauren Weisberger announced last week that her new book “When Life Gives You Lululemons” will be released in June 2018, 15 years after “The Devil Wears Prada.” The upcoming book focuses on Emily Charlton, Miranda Priestly’s other assistant, and the snarkiest character in the first book.


She was a favorite in “The Devil Wears Prada” book and movie for her sass and attitude, as well as Emily Blunt’s near-perfect portrayal of her. “When Life Gives You Lululemons” picks up with Emily now working as a high-profile celebrity “image consultant.” The book follows her attempts to fit in and adjust to new challenges thrown at her, after she is forced to move from New York City to Greenwich, Connecticut for a client.

Weisberger made the announcement on her Instagram page, saying “So thrilled to share with you the cover of my next book, WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LULULEMONS, out summer ‘18!”

Currently, an excerpt is available on Entertainment Weekly’s website. It begins with Emily thinking to herself, “There had to be something to complain about. This was New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles, one of the most annoying nights of the year in arguably the most annoying city known to man.” The tone is exactly what you’d except from the Emily.

“When Life Gives You Lululemons” is certain to entertain.
