CAIRO – 21 December 2017: Imagine sipping on your own self-portrait, as you start the day with your must-have cappuccino.

The perfectly Instagram-able trend allows customers to send their selfies to the coffee shop, using a messaging application. And voilà, in four minutes, they have their photograph, printed on the top of their cappuccino or hot chocolate with flavorless froth.

The selfieccino has finally arrived in Europe, as one London coffee shop began serving the new perfectly Instagram-able cappuccino trend on Saturday. The Tea Terrace, a coffee and tea shop on Oxford Street, London, is the first in Europe to introduce this craze to its menu; after it had only been seen in South East Asia, according to Reuters.

It’s a bit more expensive than your average cappuccino, coming at $7.50, but if you’re a social media fanatic, it could be the perfect opportunity to amaze your followers with your very own customized cappucino.

Over 400 selfieccinos have been sold over the week. “It’s not enough any more to just deliver great food and great service - it’s got to be Instagram worthy,” Ehab Salem Shouly told Reuters.
