CAIRO – 21 November 2017: “Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.” -
Salvador Dalí

Salvador Dalí was a Spanish surrealist artist known for his visionary, eccentric artworks and behavior. Born on May 11, 1904 in Figueres, Spain, Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí grew up influenced by the works of Renaissance’s masters to create paintings and other types of artworks in his own bizarre and unique style. 1931’s "The Persistence of Memory" was the most prominent among his works, according to Good Reads’ website.

This quote can be seen as an invitation to be less anxious about life, love, work and everything; Dalí tells us that it is not possible to be flawless or perfect, so we should not worry and struggle to reach perfection. We should just do what we can do and enjoy doing it.

Fun facts:
● Dalí collaborated with Walt Disney to create an animated short movie titled “Destino,” which was nominated for the Academy Award when it was released in 2003 after the death of both Disney (1966) and Dalí (1989).

● The surrealist mentioned on many occasions that he was proud of his Arab linage and that it had a great influence on him "My love for everything that is gilded and excessive, my passion for luxury and my love for oriental clothes," according to the website.

Another quote for the road:
“So little of what could happen does happen.”
