Famously known as Demi Moore, the movie star was born as Demi Gene Guynes on this day back in 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. She dropped out of high school to seek out a career in acting that has paid off in the long run. She started off with an appearance in "General Hospital," "Blame It on Rio" (1984) and "St. Elmo's Fire" (1985), but her role in "About Last Night" (1986) is what established her as a Hollywood star.

Yet what she is best known for today were the lead roles in "Ghost," which earned her a Golden Globe nomination, and "G.I Jane," where she shaved her head to get into the shoes of her female navy seal character.

She was only 17 when she married her first husband Freddy Moore who was 12 years older than her. She had three children with the legendary action movie star Bruce Willis only to divorce after 13 years of marriage. In 2005, Moore married actor Ashton Kutcher who is 15 years younger than her but they got divorced in 2012.
