The Sector of Fine Arts held on Tuesday, 9 September a presentation of fashion heritage as part of the events of the 7th National Festival for Heritage and Traditional Handicrafts in the Palace of Arts at the Cairo Opera House, attended by a broad audience of art-lovers and those interested in heritage and involved in this field. DSC_8825 DSC_8841 Exhibited were 30 models of traditional fashion by design/artist Afaf Sharaf al-Din, who said “all the designs are inspired by folklore and Egyptian culture, and belong to various Egyptian environments (Bedouin - rural - Nubian) and some of them were inspired by the pharaonic style, all have been employed in modern templates compatible with the spirit of the age, so they can be used on various occasions in the present day."
