The Tennis player was born on September 26, 1981. She was the youngest of the five daughters.
She became a professional tennis player in 1995. She started from rank 304, but she made her way up to the top 100.
She became a legacy in the year 1988 with her sister, when they won the championship of the doubles. She defeated Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka to record a victory at the French Open and the U.S. Open singles tournament, in 2013, becoming the oldest U.S. Open Champion.
