CAIRO – 3 July 2017: Egyptian Supreme Council of Culture launches ‘Creative Buds’ competition to support young generation to improve their talents. The step comes under the council’s cultural plan to discover and adopt talents in different Egyptian governorates. Supreme Council of culture statement reported.

“The competition is to discover new talents among the age of 5 and 18 in arts and literature fields, talents of disabled are welcome,” said Head of supreme council of culture Hatem Rabia.

There are three sections in the competition. The literature section includes poetry, story and article. The art section involves photography, drawing and hand toys. The last section is creativity and innovation, which receives any creation from the available environmental materials. The statement added that the competition will receive works in topics of belonging to Egypt, preserving the environment and children rights.

The statement mentioned that Ministry of Culture is trying to engage young youth in various artistic and cultural activities during the summer to support them to discover their talents and find out what they love to do.
