Law Kan” music video represents the struggles of refugees

CAIRO - 29 June 2017: Egyptian band Wust El Balad released a music video for “Law Kan,” portraying the struggle of refugees around the world, on June 26.

The music video was released a few days after World Refugee Day on June 20. The video was directed by Amr Salama and its lyrics written by Hazim Wifa.

The band was founded in 1999 creating soft rock tunes blending traditional Arabic sounds with modern and western tunes. They released three albums titled “Wust El Balad” in 2007, “Rubabekya” in 2011 and “Karakib” in 2014.
