CAIRO - 27 March 2020: As part of the e-initiative "Stay at home ... Culture is in your hands" a concert for Symphony Orchestra - Soloist : Piano acclaimed international pianist Ramzy Yassa will be broadcast on the Ministry of Culture’s official YouTube channel on March 28 at 9 p.m.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem agreed with the Minister of State for Information Osama Haikal to broadcast the "Stay in the House ... Culture is in Your Hands" initiative's programs daily on Egyptian TV channels.

Head of the National Media Authority Hussein Zain set a fixed date for the broadcast on the second channel at 9 p.m. starting March 25.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem launched the online initiative "Stay at home ... Culture is between your hands" on March 24 at 9 p.m.

“The initiative aims to broadcast anecdotes about the archives of national, contemporary and traditional creativity on the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Culture and its different social media accounts,” Abdel Dayem explained.

The minister indicated that she is calling for the implementation of the precautionary measures aimed at preserving public health and safety through the citizens' commitment to social distancing and staying at homes in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is going through.

Abdel Dayem further stated that the broadcast begins with the Opera House's hologram concert of the late wonderful singer Umm Kulthum’s “Hayart Qalbi”, in addition to other Umm Kulthum's specials performed by Reham Abdel Hakim and Mai Farouk.

The minister of culture added that broadcasting continues on a daily basis with various creative materials that include theatrical performances, Arab and classical concerts, ballet shows, short films, documentaries, and others.

The ministry's official website on the internet makes available many publications of various sectors.
