CAIRO - 25 March 2020: The Egyptian Opera House will broadcast a concert performed by Medhat Saleh, Ali el-Haggar, Reham Abdel Hakim and Amina Khairat alongside legendary musician Omar Khairat on March 26 at 9 p.m.
The concert comes as part of the initiative “Stay Home ... Culture is between your hands” launched by Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem to encourage citizens to stay at home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The Ministry has also launched a website to broadcast activities to entertain people while they stay at home during the imposed curfew.
The minister’s decision is a serious step to combat the morbid virus on the cultural front, where activities reach citizens at home after the decision to suspend activities for fear of spreading the virus.
