'L’autre' to stage at Frères Theater on July 20

CAIRO - 17 July 2019: The Frères French School’s theater in Bab el-Louk will host the play “L'autre" for Moghayer Performing Arts Group, in cooperation with the French Institute in Cairo, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

The play revolves around the embodiment of the eternal and continuous struggle between both genders, each trying to impose their identity on the other, in a series of drama scenes linked by a thread of feelings of sadness, joy, happiness, tension, hope, longing and other mixed emotions. The play depicts the feelings of each sex towards the other in a contemporary experimental drama.

“L’autre” is the product of the "Body and Identity" project with the support of the French Institute in Cairo, and is one of the projects of the Moghayer Group for Performing Arts, in partnership with the Tanweira Foundation for Cultural Development and Reflection Foundation for Arts, Training and Development.
