Cinema critic Youssef Sherif Rizqallah dies at 77

CAIRO - 12 July 2019: Cinema critic Youssef Sherif Rizqallah died on Friday at the age of 77.

Rizqallah was the art director of Cairo International Film Festival. He also held the post of chief editor of news bulletins in the Egyptian Radio and TV Union (ERTU).

He held the post of head of the Nile TV International channel from 1997 to 2002.

The late critic was a TV presenter of several cinematic programs in the Egyptian TV.

He participated in many film festivals arbitration committees in France, Italy and the Netherlands.
