CAIRO - 13 June 2019: Watch it digital platform has opened a pop-up designated for documentaries, featuring six films that you should not miss. ET sheds light on the documentaries in the following lines.

"Noqtat Talaqi" (Focal point)

This film is directed by veteran film director Marwan Hamed and is starring Reem Mostafa. The film reviews the religious archeological sites in Sinai, starting from the era of the ancient Egyptians through to Moses until the journey of the Holy Family. In addition, the film portrays the Islamic conquest in Egypt, resuming until the 1973 war, during which the Arabs of Sinai showed great sacrifices and heroic acts.

"Enwan el-Morasalat" (Correspondence Address)

In this film, Yassin al-Zoghbi travels around the world, interviewing a group of young people from different nations. The film also includes statistics on the number of refugees and displaced people around the world.

"Moslem wala Maseehi" (Muslim or Coptic)

A documentary film that refers to the natural instincts of children, birth circumstances and the way they perform prayers from a very young age. The film also stresses on the point that there is no difference between a Muslim and a Christian. Everyone believes in a certain faith and all humans are the offspring of Adam and Eve. Religion does not differentiate between friends, whether they are Muslims or Christians.

"Saneoo el-Matar" (Creators of Rain)

Egyptian student Ahmed Gamal Matar deals with humanitarian work from a self-perspective, after being granted an international award following his work on a project to treat melanoma or nail cancer; hence, he decided to travel around the world to highlight the humanitarian actions in which individuals decided to make a difference in the lives of others, even though they are not official scientists or experts.

"Al-Bahiri" (Overlooking the sea)

This film addresses the aspirations and ambitions of young people in Egypt’s West Delta provinces. A young man roams the provinces riding his bicycle and reviews the requests of young people and different citizens.

"Hekayet Watan, Bain al Ro’ya wal Engaz" (Story of a homeland ... Between vision and achievement)

This documentary focuses on the numerous achievements that have been made in Egypt in the last recent years.
