CAIRO - 24 April 2019: Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem confirmed that all sectors and agencies of the ministry will organize events on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day.

Abdel Dayem added that all these events are free of charge and reflect feelings of pride and belonging.

On the Open Theater of Cairo Opera House, the children and youth of the Talent Development Center will present a group of national works that were carved in the minds and hearts of Egyptians on April 24.

The Art House for Popular and Performing Arts group will also perform at Salah Jahin Hall at 9 p.m. on the same day. The show is directed by Tarek Hassan.

In the Hanager Center for the Arts, a documentary film will screen in cooperation with the Golden Men Foundation; the film tells the stories of a group of heroic Egyptian war veterans.

The National Theater for Children presents the “Cross and Victory” show directed by Mohamed el Kholy and “Sahina Ya Sina” (We woke up Sinai) composed and written by Khamis Ezz el-Arab and directed by Issam el-Shwaikh at the theater of the Cultural Park in Sayeda Zainab district.

The shows come as part of the initiative “Know your army” launched by the Cultural Production Sector.

Last but not least, the General Authority for Culture Palaces prepared a rich cultural and artistic program in various regions of Egypt, including seminars, lectures, readings, poetic evenings, artistic workshops and screenings of documentary films about the eternal Egyptian victories.
