CAIRO - 25 March 2019: Through the screening of six short films, MEDFEST Egypt brought together filmmakers, health service providers and the public in a discussion held on March 23 on ways to deal with the different characteristics, personalities and needs of children. The film screenings were held in Zawya Cinema.

The forum also organized a panel discussion attended by actress Yousra el-Lozi, psychiatry professor Maha Emad Eddin and Umniah Okasha. The discussion was presented by Sheriff Nooruddin. "We always ask the different child to adapt to society, even though people around him are living an easier life; they have to adjust to their own differences and meet their own needs," said actress Yousra el-Lozi during the seminar.

The films will continue to screen in Zawya until March 25, while the program's sessions will continue until March 29, and seminars will be held in the British Cultural Center, the German Cultural Center and the Nahda Association for Scientific & Cultural Renaissance.

It is worth noting that MEDFEST Egypt brings together doctors and filmmakers to select movies that provide a cinematic content that is enriching to the viewers. In its third edition under the title "Small Marks", MEDFEST Egypt aims to create a channel of communication between doctors and filmmakers to explore the relationship between children and their parents and to discuss the psychological and physical problems they may face at different ages.
