CAIRO - 24 March 2019: Head of Sharjah Culture and Information Department and Director of Sharjah Theater Days Festival Ahmed Abu Rahima honored director Khaled Galal, head of the Cultural Production Affairs Sector in Egypt.

This came after the Eighth Sharjah Forum for pioneering Arab Theatrical Figures, which was held within the events of the festival.

“The seminar focused on theatrical improvisation and artistic creativity and its important role in the discovery and development of artistic talents in various theatrical aspects,” commented Galal in a statement made on March 23.

Galal added that the seminar was made for the leading graduates of artistic institutes across the Arab world in countries like Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan, Kuwait and Tunisia.

The Egyptian director thanked Sheikh Ahmed Abu Rahima, director of the Sharjah Theater Days, and the Sudanese playwright and media critic Essam Abu al-Qassim, and expressed his happiness with this honoring that took place in a cultural and artistic event that occupies a great position in the Arab world.

The Sharjah Theater Days Festival's 29th edition is organized by the Culture Department at the Palace of Culture in UAE, under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed al-Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

The closing ceremony is set to be held on March 27.
