Karim Abdel Aziz resumes filming ‘The Blue Elephant” PII in Manial

CAIRO - 3 March 2019: Star Karim Abdel Aziz is set to film a number of scenes for the movie "Blue Elephant 2" on March 3 in Manial. The scenes will gather Abdel Aziz and star Nelly Karim.

The shooting lasts for one day, as Abdel Aziz is about to complete filming his scenes. The film is the production of Synergy.

The second part of the "Blue Elephant" hasthe same cast of the first part, led by director Marwan Hamid and writer Ahmed Murad. The film is starring Abdel Aziz and Nelly Karim, joined by Tunisian actress Hend Sabry and Jordanian star Eyad Nassar as the film’s guest of honor.

The first part of the "Blue Elephant" presented the story of Dr. Yahya, who returns after 5 years of elective isolation to work at Abbasiya Mental Health Hospital. Yahya meets an old friend who shares with him past memories he is struggling to forget.

Yahya’s attempt to discover the truth of his friend's case leads him to a journey full of suspense.

Abdel Aziz is an Egyptian actor. He is the son of director Mohammad Abdul Aziz and nephew of film director Omar Abdel Aziz. He was born August 17, 1975, at Al-Agouza.

Karim Abdel Aziz was raised by a director with a great heritage in the Egyptian cinema. This artistic upbringing influenced him, so he chose to be part of the film making industry as he was already familiar with the nature of the business.

The star joined the High Institute of Cinema in 1994 and graduated from the directing department in 1997. He worked as an assistant director for a short period and then was tempted by the sensation of being in front of the camera instead of behind it;this is when he decided to switch to acting.

He got his chance to act with director Sherif Arafa who introduced him for the first time.

When prominent actress Samira Ahmed chose him for his role in the TV drama "Emraa Mn Zaman el-Hob", it was his real kick off as a true artist with a real talent and great sense of humor.He then received several offers until he got his leading role in front of Mona Zaki and Hala Sheha in "Leeh Khalletny Ahebbak" (Why did you make me love you?).
