Sama Ibrahim granted Best Acting Award in Cairo Monodrama Festival

CAIRO - 12 February 2019: Head of the Theater House Ismail Mokhtar expressed his happiness for the participation of Sama Ibrahim’s play “Ana Carmen” in Cairo Monodrama Festival’s second edition.

Sama Ibrahim was granted the Best Acting Award for her play.

The play is a lyrical comedy show, which blends international musical compositions with the musical works of Ayman Khayat. The play shows how Carmen resembles every woman, looking for happiness, love and freedom, no matter what the cultural background the lady may be raised in.

“Ana Carmen” stars Sama Ibrahim, and the play's music is composed by French composer Georges Bizet and Egyptian composer Ayman Khayat.
