CAIRO – 27 January 2019: The General Egyptian Book Organization (GEBO) headed by Haitham el-Haj decided to increase the number of entry and exit gates of the Cairo International Book Fair to cope with the large number of attendees.

The fair is set to run until February 5, 2019.It is worth noting that a number of x-ray entry gates are being installed to secure the event. The increase of entry and exit gates was decided due to the high number of visitors to prevent congestion and ease movement of the visitors.

Numerous meetings will be held between Haj; Islam Bayoumi, the fair’s director; and the organizers of the CIBF to submit proposals and shed light on any negativities in the event to rapidly fix obstacles that might face the visitors.
