CAIRO – 23 December 2018: The Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek celebrates the 110th anniversary of its establishment on Dec. 23 through the art exhibition organized by the faculty.

The anniversary celebration will be attended by President of Helwan University Majid Najm, acting-Dean El-Sayed Qandil and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Ashraf Reda as well as the organizers of the exhibition.

Artists, professors of fine arts and students will also attend the exhibition set to be launched on Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. at the main exhibition hall of the faculty.

Furthermore, the exhibition will include the artistic works of a group of faculty professors in various fields. Professors from all departments will be honored and certificates of appreciation will be presented to them during the celebration.

A music and drama program will be presented by the students under the supervision of the student union in an evening that emphasizes the college's policy and approach in the field of plastic arts.

The celebration is thought to be an effective way to boost the public taste and develop the aesthetic sense of Egyptians.
