Sharmoofers to celebrate Christmas with Mahmoud Esseily
The anticipated concert brings Sharmoofers back to the Egyptian audience after their first concert in Morocco in November during the closing ceremony of the fifth edition of the Visa for Music Festival, which hosted more than 50 bands from around the world.
Sharmoofers are also currently putting the final touches on their latest album “Enfesam” (Schizophrenia) that is expected to be released during the first months of 2019.
In 2012, Ahmed Baha’a and Mohamed el-Arkan cooperated and formed the band. Since then, they’ve been impacting the world’s youth with positive groovy music.
Esseily was born in 1982. His mother enrolled him in Piano lessons at the age of 4 due to his obvious talents. His teachers used to speak about his talents and sometimes complain about his tendency to go off note and alter a Beethoven piece to play it in his own way.
