CAIRO – 20 November 2018: The Egyptian short movie “Hayden” will premiere in London at one of the British Film Institution’s halls.

The film which takes place in 1951, after World War II, starts with a big ceremony organized by the rich French lady, Hayden, who is used to make an annual party for the elite at her palace.

During the ceremony many incidents occur between the guests who are weapons dealers, businessmen and public figures. The incidents reveal the nature of the society at that time; then suddenly Hayden reveals her illness.

Hayden is a French-English-speaking movie, filmed in Egypt. Hayden is played by Egyptian actress Engy Abou Zeid, written and produced by Tarek Abdel Gaffar, directed and coproduced by Ammar Galal.

Galal previously participated with two of his short movies in Cannes International Film Festival after completing his masters in London in 2014.
