The veteran Lebanese singer George Wassouf will perform in Sharm El-Sheikh on New Year’s Eve, December 31 – Egypt Today

CAIRO – 22 October 2018: Veteran Lebanese singer George Wassouf will perform at El-Sawy Culture Wheel on November 9.

The last concert for Wassouf in Egypt was at Sharm El-Sheikh on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2017.

Wassouf was born in Lebanon in 1961. He began his career at the age of 10 and gained a lot of recognition since then.
Wassouf won many awards and he is known for his strong vocals. He has been performing for about four decades, releasing more than 30 albums.

Wassouf has a significantly large fan base in the Arab world. He is one of the most prominent Arab singers, selling more than 60 million records worldwide.

Wassouf released a lot of successful hits such as “Kalam El-Nass” (Gossip), “Leil El-Ashiqeen” (The Night of Lovers), “Tabeeb Garrah” (A Surgeon), and “Dol Mush Habayib” (They Are Not Lovers) among others.
