Arab Music Festival's 27th edition to kick off Nov. 1

CAIRO - 18 October 2018: Cairo Opera House will hold a press conference in the Grand Hall on Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. to reveal the details of the Arab Music Festival's 27th edition set to run from Nov. 1-12.

The press conference will be attended by members of the festival’s preparatory commission; veteran musician Helmy Bakr, musician Gamal Salama, Hassan Sharara, Reda Ragab, Amgad Mustafa, Amgad al-Atafy, Maged Soroor, composer Mohamed Rahim, poet Hany Afify, Rasha Tamom (member of the scientific committee) and the festival’s manager Jihan Morsy.

The conference will also be attended by numerous concerned individuals in the media/music industry, universal news agencies and global broadcasting networks.

This festival comes in line with the Ministry of Culture's initiative to boost culture exchange and social engagement with neighboring countries, as a way to entertain people amid the political chaos in the region.
