CAIRO - 18 May 2017: The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo organizes a grand celebration, marking the International Museum Day on Thursday, under the auspices of Minister of Antiquities Khalid al-Anani.

The first event of the celebration includes an inauguration of an exhibition which comprises 40 creative drawings by children from the Children’s Cancer Hospital in Egypt 57357 .

Another group of children, who are practicing in an academy of Karate, will perform sports shows, highlighting the importance of sports, which were depicted on many artifacts and ancient manuscripts inside the museum.

Meanwhile, the museum staff will give visitors and children of the National Center of Children Culture a guided tour to introduce the artworks on display inside the museum.
