‘Life Is Beautiful’ to be screened at Haifa Art Gallery

CAIRO – 27 February 2018: Haifa Art Gallery is about to screen the Italian Academy Award-winning film “Life Is Beautiful”, which stars the talented Roberto Benigni, who also wrote and directed the film.

The story of the film revolves around a Jewish-Italian bookkeeper who suffers the criticalness of the German regime during the days of Adolf Hitler when Italy was occupied by Germans, surviving the struggles he faced due to the Holocaust, along with his wife and son.

The film is considered one of the most important drama comedy movies in history, as it has been awarded many important awards, such as the Academy Award for best foreign language film and best leading actor, Cannes Film Festival’s grand prize of the jury and the BAFTA Awards best leading actor.

The super talented Roberto Benigni was born in Tuscany, Italy, and he made his mark in history to be considered as one of the most important Italian talents in this field, as he was known for his films “The Tiger and the Snow” and “Down by Law”, which achieved huge success around the world.
