‘The Great Beauty’ to screen at Room Art Space & Cafe

CAIRO – 20 January 2018: “The Great Beauty”, Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Language Film in 2014, will be screened on Sunday as a part of the event series called Film and Coffee Night, hosted by Room Art Space & Cafe..

The film’s plot discusses an Italian journalist’s life, who became famous after he wrote a novel in his 20s. He lived a comfortable and lavish life after his success but when he turns 65, he starts to reflecting and discovers a timeless landscape of great beauty.
Paolo Sorrentino is considered one of the most important Italian filmmakers in history. His film “The Great Beauty” won a BAFTA and an Academy award for Best Foreign Language Film.

e is also known for his 2011 movie called “This Must Be the Place” which won the Cannes Film Festival prize of Ecumenical Jury beside the Bari International Film Festival Award and more. “Youth” is his latest movie which was also nominated for various awards and prizes.
