CAIRO – 18 December 2017: Based on a true story of a successful cancer healing experience, the first Egyptian docudrama film “7th Century Before Birth” will be screened on January 10 at El Sawy Culture Wheel.

The film revolves around an international famous Egyptian tennis player Anwar Elkamony’s journey to beat cancer. It focuses on the strength of this unstoppable man and how he makes his way back to the tennis court.

Directed by Mustafa Nour, “7th Centuries Before Birth” participated in the Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries.

The proceeds from the event will go to the National Institute of Oncology.

Docudrama is an artistic genre, which re-enacts real events in a dramatized context. It features real or historical events using interesting literary and dramatic techniques.
