CAIRO – 10 December 2017: "Pandora", an animated film, will screen at Teatro Eskindria on December 14. The screening will be followed by a discussion with "Pandora’s" director Amr Shahin.

The film’s cast includes a number of impressive talents such as Esraa Mahmoud, Asmaa Samir, Mohamed Mekki, and Reda Beshr.

Based on the Greek famous myth Pandora, the film revolves around a poor young man who decides to face his problems with wizardry and spells.

Pandora is one of the most celebrated Greek myths. According to Works and Days poem by the ancient Greek poet Hesiod, she is the first Greek woman created on Earth by Zeus.

Zeus created her from water and dust, carrying phenomenal features such as beauty, and music. She was given a magical box which contains all the diseases and evil in the world and she eventually decides to open it when she can no longer contain her curiosity; unleashing all of its contents on the world.
