CAIRO – 9 December 2017: Egyptian-French music group Egybadour will perform at Room Art Space & Cafe on December 16.

Egybadour was founded in 2012 by Mohamed Abo Zid and two of his French friends Bertrand Mahiou and Etienne Porhel. Many other members have since been incorporated into the original line up.

Aiming to enriching the music scene in Egypt, Egybadour presents different music trends taken from the Egyptian and French cultures to spread a message of peace.

The band previously performed in a number of venues including El Sawy Culturewheel, DAMA Theater, French Culture Institute in Cairo, and the Faculty of Music Education of Helwan University.

Egybadour consists of Mohammad Abu Zaid on oud and mandole, Bertrand Mahiou on oud, guitar and recorder, Alain Robert on tabla and percussion, Philippe Humbert on clarinet and the two singers, Jeanette Zaki and Luisa.
