CAIRO – 2 December 2017: The Greek Campus will host a new exhibition entitled “Alibaba’s Grotto” by legendary contemporary artist Mohamed Abla from December 6 to January 6.

Abla is one of the Egyptian iconic contemporary arts figures. After graduating from the Fine Art Faculty in 1977, he began to transform daily life conflicts and challenges into artistic, colorful and expressive art works.

His works are considered an artistic renaissance alongside many iconic contemporary artists, such as Mahmoud Khalil, Mahmoud Mokhtar, and Mahmoud Saeed.

He participated in numerous exhibitions since 1977. Abla was awarded many prestigious awards, such as first prize at Cairo Seen by Artistes in 1985, and first prize at Alexandria Biennale for Mediterranean countries in 1997.
