2 renowned painters to host ‘Dual Vision’ exhibition at Alexandria

CAIRO – 5 November 2017: Renowned painters Abdel Moneim Moawad and Mohamed Shaker will be leading an exhibition titled “Dual Vision,” showcasing their creative journeys in photography at Bibliotheca Alexandria (BA) on Tuesday. The exhibition will run until November 18.

Taking place at the West Exhibition Hall, “Dual Vision” will be a joint platform with Shaker who is a painting professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria University and a contributor to several artistic projects revolving around architecture. Since 1970, Shaker has held a number of exhibitions locally and abroad.

A design professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Abdel Moneim Moawad has previously held several solo and group exhibitions in Egypt and abroad. A leader of several prominent positions, he also pursued the posts of Egyptian Cultural Advisor in Italy and Artistic Advisor in Ministry of Housing and Urban Communities among others.
