Culture ministers inaugurate Tunisian Cultural Days

CAIRO – 23 October 2017: Minister of Culture Helmy El Namnam and Tunisian Culture Minister Mohamed Zein El Abdeen inaugurated Tunisian Cultural Days on Monday in Luxor. The event will last a week.

According to a statement released by the Egyptian Culture Ministry, the decision to host the event in Luxor comes after the city was declared the “Capital of Arab Culture”.

The Luxor Book Fair is also being launched and is expected to feature a number of Tunisian publications. It will be followed up by El Ghen Exhibition for Fine Arts called “Madrset Tunis” (School of Tunisia), which will be held at Luxor’s Culture Palace.

Tunisian Cultural Days will feature a musical performance called “El Zeyara” (The Visit) by musician Samy El Legmy.
