CAIRO – 19 October 2017: Biography/ drama film The Yellow House will be screening at Smart Art gallery in downtown on October 27.

Directed by Chris Durlacher, the film revolves around the aspiring life of the worldwide recognized artist Vincent Van Gogh, according to a released statement by Smart Art.

The Yellow House stars Kevin Eldon, Simon Farnaby, and Deborah Findlay, featuring a fall in 1888 where artist Paul Gaugin stays in a four-room yellow house rented by Van Gogh in the countryside.

The house is a retreat gathering artists together who can freely create and express themselves. Despite the ambitions behind the project, both Van Gogh and Gaugin disagree on various topics such as the nature of the artistic process among others. The disagreements turn into a violent form of actions that destroys their friendship.
