CAIRO – 1 October 2017: The seventh edition of the annual Tunis Village Festival will kick off on October 19 and will run to October 21.

The idea of the festival was formed by a number of ceramic makers who wanted to promote their productions among tourists.

The festival includes a number of activities such as ceramic productions, pottery exhibitions, workshops, puppet theater shows, horse riding and bird watching at Lake Qarun.

Countryside cuisine will be introduced to the audience, as well.

A number of local and international artists will participate in the festival’s activities.

The festival is supervised by the governor of Faiyum in cooperation with the Egyptian Export Council of Handicrafts and Handicraft Industry Chamber.

It is financed by Alexbank for the third year through the “Creations from Egypt” initiative.
