CAIRO – 24 September 2017: An Irish delegation from Tile Films completed its visit in Aswan, shooting a documentary about ancient Egyptian history.

This documentary is part of a series of films about sacred and historical places around the world.

An official from the Press Center of the State Information Service in Aswan, Ahmed Ali Abeed, stated that seven members of the Irish press delegation filmed many scenes of the Nile for more than four hours.

He added that the film will screen in the U.S., Ireland and other parts of Europe next year according to Steven Rooke, the director of the film.

The film will contribute to enhancing Egyptian tourism.
