CAIRO – 21 September 2017: A live performance dubbed “Farfalle” at the New York University (NYU) in Abu Dhabi campus uses colorful dances and audio-visual displays to creatively explore the emergence of a butterfly from its chrysalis, starting Thursday, September 28.

Performed by two dancers from the Italian group Compagnia TPO, “Farfalle” uses an interactive environment of sound and colors to create a memorable experience that the audience can become a part of. In total, 18 performances will take place running through October 1. Primarily geared towards children, the colorful environment and interactive displays will help encourage their creativity in a unique manner. It will take place at the Black Box in NYU Abu Dhabi’s Art Center.

“Farfalle” is named after the Italian term for a type of pasta shaped like butterfly wings.
