‘Wandering Time’ to be performed at CIFCET

CAIRO - 19 September 2017: “Wandering Time” play will be on stage as part of the 24th edition of Cairo International Festival for Contemporary & Experimental Theater (CIFCET) on September 20 and September 21 at Cairo Puppet Theater.

The play examines human relations with time; a relationship always characterized by contradiction, pain, sadness, and the end of a permanent conflict.

Directed by Hassan Khiyon, “Wandering Time” is also a dialogue between man and time that is the cause of all fear and concern for man, as well as the hope for peace.

CIFCET is running between September 19 and September 29, featuring an array of interactive seminars, workshops, and plays. It is going to stage in several venues including Al-Ghad Theater, Miami Theater, Salam Theater, and Hanager theater amongst others.

The festival features national, regional and international performances from across the world. Three Egyptian theatrical performances will be participating including “The Day They Killed Singing,” “The Bridge,” “The Forty Rules of Love,” “The Experiment,” “Shaman,” “The Ambassador” and “Women with No Tomorrow.”

Arab theatrical performances include the Jordanian “Shadow of a Female,” the Iraqi “On Private,” the Iraqi “Cart,” the Moroccan “Balasmya,” the Moroccan play “Fall,” the Tunisian “Fall Night,” and the Tunisian play “Women in Resistance and Love.”
