CAIRO – 18 September 2017: The 9th Cairo International Jazz Festival edition will kick off on September 28 for four days.

A number of Egyptian artists will participate in the festival such as, Eftakasat band, Watson Blues, Shereen Abdo “Jazz me”, and Wave Jazz band.

In addition, international artists will participate in the festival as well, such as, Mathias Heise Quadrillion from Denmark, Kapok from Netherlands, Netnakisum from Austria, Tomas Liska ''Invisible World'' from Czech Republic, Ichiro Onoe Trio from Japan and MN' Jam Experiment from Portugal.

CJF is an international festival that aims to widespread the mission of jazz to reach more people and give more exposure to both artists and audience, according to CJF official Facebook page.

The CJF events will mainly take place at AUC Tahrir Campus, but a number of additional performances will be hosted at Room Art Space & Café and Cairo Jazz Club.

The festival also will provide a number of workshops for music lovers.
