CAIRO – 7 September 2017: ”12 Angry Men” film will screen at the Egyptian Film Critics Association on Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The movie talks about an 18-year-old boy who is accused of murdering his father and the twelve jurors residing over his case are instructed by the judge to to reach a ruling for first-degree murder. All of them are convinced that he is guilty except for one juror; juror 8, who keeps defending him until his acquittal.

The movie stars Henry Fonda (jury 8), Lee J. Cobb (Juror 3), Martin Balsam (Juror 1) and John Savoca (the accused).

The crime and drama movie was directed by Sidney Lumet and written by Reginald Rose, and was first released in April 1957 in the United States.

It was nominated for Oscar in 1958 and Golden Globe in 1958. At the same time, it won many awards such as BAFTA Film Award in 1958 and Golden Bear Berlin at the International Film Festival in 1957.
