CAIRO – 7 September 2017: Sinai Orchestral Theatre in Berlin, Germany will organize a four-day orchestral theatre workshop in Cairo from September 30 to October 3.

Haitham Assem Tantawy will head the workshop. Tantawy is a theatre director, acting coach and actor in Berlin.

He received his Master’s degree in theatre directing from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama - University of London in the UK.

Tantawy also received his musical education through an eight-year study at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music

He headed many workshops in Germany and Poland.

The upcoming workshop will include: physical and musical performances, the link between music and imagination, improvisation techniques and the relation between the member and the ensemble.

Sinai Orchestral Theatre is a music-theatre company that was founded in 2015 in Berlin.

It produced two music theatre productions; the last one is called "Yusuf's" and it was funded by the Senate Chancellery for cultural affairs and Fonds Darstellende Künste (Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media) in Germany.
