Magnolia, El Bashbory to host Ultimate Art Day on September 23

CAIRO – 7 September 2017: Magnolia, in association with the El Bashbory art collective, will host the El Bashbory “Ultimate Music, Poetry & Art Day“ live event at the Magnolia Leaves of Art coffee-shop and performance space on September 23.

The program is an entire day’s schedule of art, music, and poetry, including a painting and photography exhibition at 3:00 p.m., as well as a 7:00 p.m. performance with Bashbory's singers and poets of Arabic and English-language performances.

El Bashbory's name is a purposefully odd choice, coming from the Arabic word for the hose on a fire extinguisher. The team chose it to communicate their purpose of blowing the audience's socks off with their brilliant array of fresh new artists set to revolutionize the world of Egyptian art.

Teams participating in the event include the Aradi Band, the El Bashbory Photography Team, the Pen Pushers and Mind Beats, and the Shades Team of painters.

The location is 2 Mohamed Anis Street, off Mohamed Mazhar Street's ground floor in Zamalek.
