CAIRO – 3 September 2017: At least 80 props used in the production of the Star Wars franchise will be going on auction on September 26 at the Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction in London, according to the National.

Among the items, there are several that were part of production for ‘The Empire Strikes Back’; the head of robot comic relief C3P0, used for special effects and worth over £60,000 ($77,700) to £80,000 ($103,611) and a Darth Vader helmet that was used for the film's promotional tour, which is set at £30,000 ($38,854) to £50,000 ($64,757).

Props from the more recent films include a Snowtrooper helmet from 2015's 'The Force Awakens' worth around between £20,000 ($25,902) and £29,999 ($38,854). A free exhibition of 300 of the Prop Store's items will commence from September 7 to 26 at the BFI Imax movie theatre.
