CAIRO – 2 September 2017: The Jesuit Animation School of Cairo will organize a five day filmmaking workshop entitled Mini-Cairo the Film City for Children, from September 11 to September 15.

Targeted for a special segment of children and teenagers, the workshop will help participants create and produce their mini projects.

Participants will be introduced to the basics of filmmaking, creating an environment for teenagers to express their thoughts and develop the skills of the youth.

Other workshops are also carried out including computerized drawings, newspaper design, fashion, screenwriting, printing and photography.

A number of Egyptian and German trainers will lead the workshop in different studios.

The Jesuit Animation School of Cairo is cooperating with a number of organizations to organize this event, such as the Open Source Club and The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute.
