Trio of Arab leading musicians to stage El Genaina Theater in September

CAIRO - 26 August 2017: El Genaina Theater released stated that it will be hosting Maryam Saleh, Tamer Abu Ghazaleh, and Maurice Louka in September.

Influenced by hip hop and rock, Egyptian singer and songwriter Saleh voices her political, personal and philosophical debates into melodies in the Arabic language. She shares them with her audience through a powerful voice. She performed in various place around Egypt, the Arab World, and Europe.

Palestinian oud and buzuq player Abu Ghazaleh collaborate with Egyptian musician Muarice Louca and Iraqi musician Khyam Allami to form the alternative band Alif in 2012.

Since then, the band has been performing in cities including Beirut, Alexandria, Cairo, Amman, London, Ramallah, Tunis, Constantine, Liverpool, Manchester, Budapest, Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen amongst others. The also produced Saleh’s debut album in 2012, ‘Mesh Baghanny’.

Louca also cofounded the Egypt based band Bikya. He also released his debut solo album in 2011 called ‘Garraya’.
