CAIRO – 22 August 2017: The Folk Arts House presided by theater director Hisham Atwa will host Talamez El-Facebook (Students of Faebook) theater performances at Al-Anfoshy cultural palace theatre until August 27. This is its second year on display.

The play tells the story of a teacher who tries to evaluate the behaviors of some students in cooperation with group of his colleagues in a comedic way.

Directed and written by Abdel Moneam Mohamed, the play also includes set of demos and songs by singer Mohamed El-Helw accompanied with Sherien, Under 18 Band and Nour El-Sharkawy.

The board of cultural palaces led by poet Ashraf Amer continues hosting activities in Abou-Keir Culture House that includes a workshop for plastic artist Hend Mohamed to design Eid Al Adha’s sheep using environmental materials on August 16.

Celebrating the opening of new Suez Canal, was a previous art workshop that was held on August 16 and 17 in cooperation with Abou-Keir Culture House.

The workshop included creating plastic artworks led by plastic artist Noha Ahmed; while Roshdy culture house held a workshop led by several plastic artists such as Fatma Imam and Sondos Ibrahim to design a card celebrating the opening of the canal on July 26, in addition to workshop for designing landscapes.

In Shatby cultural palace, a workshop for drawing flowers was held under supervision of plastic artists Lamees Saied, Heba Fadl, and Naira Galal beside a workshop for making a mirror using plastic fasteners in child atelier on August 17, the workshop aims to teach children how to exploit the different environment materials in making useful applied arts in home under supervision of artist Maha Mahmous.
